Responsibilities
Design, build, and balance levels to ensure they are challenging but fair and fun for players
Playtest the game to identify and fix bugs, imbalances, and other issues
Analyze live data to identify issues and propose solutions for specific levels or game mechanics
Create and maintain detailed design documents to specify and propose game mechanics, systems, rules
Collaborate with other members of the game team such as artists, programmers, and QA to bring the game design to life
Communicate with stakeholders and team members to gather feedback and input on the game design
Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices and incorporate those into the game and level design where appropriate
